The Surveyor (original title - Maanmittari) (2008, fiction, 22min 15sec)

The Surveyor is searching for his place in life but is carrying a heavy burden. His wheelchair-bound mother is spending her last years in an old people's home, while his father, a retired surveyor, wanders around the Lapland woodlands without the courage to face his wife's destiny. The flashbacks from the man's childhood only raise more questions about his past and future.
